Cooking in the new kitchen

Christmas Eve dinner

Baking cookies with Aunt Sara!

We had a fantastic Christmas season. Ainsley enjoyed visiting family and had fun with Christmas in general. My sister and her husband arrived 5 days before Christmas with their 2 dogs. They stayed with us for just over a week. Ainsley enjoyed reading and playing with them. After a few days, she even became more comfortable with their dogs- they are a bit more rambunctious that Remi so they took some getting used to.
We had a big breakfast at my in laws house and opened more gifts there. It was a fantastic morning.

Sara cooked several great meals for us while they were visiting- it was great to come home to after work!
We had to split up Ainsley's presents into multiple days because she got so many of them. it was a bit overwhelming for her to open them. She did get into the presents and tearing paper though- we are creating a present monster!
Ainsley's big gift from Santa was a kitchen- she loved it and played with it quite a bit. Nannie gave her lots of kitchen accessories too.
On Christmas morning, we opened gifts with the family. We even skyped with my Sister in Baltimore.

My parents arrived Christmas afternoon- despite lots of bad weather near where they live. They came just in time for turkey! We had a really nice dinner and enjoyed being together.
My Mom, Sara and I actually went shopping after Christmas. We went to the Hill Country Galleria- my new favorite place. It was really a nice mall and it was not crowded at all! We had lots of fun shopping and then even had time for a nice lunch out.

I just love, love, love all your holidays pics - especially the Christmas Eve dinner. A perfect Christmas dinner requires an all inclusive recipe of a festively decorated home, conversation inspiring libations, wines
