I celebrated my birthday. Ainsley and Dan made me a cake- the best cake ever! Ainsley is also getting the hang of birthdays and loves singing "Happy Birthday!" She sang it to me quite a bit over the course of a week. Ainsley loves baking- she loves to help and lick the bowl/utensils! Of course, she was a big fan of the finished product too!

We had Maddie over to jump on the trampoline. They have the best time together! Check our the static on their hair- too funny!

Ainsley and I went to the zoo on Oct 8th with some friends. She had a fantastic time feeding the goats and deer. We even went into the petting coral and she pet the goats- she was very brave.
On October 10th, we went on a family outing to Sweet Berry Farms. It was a gorgeous day - sunny and clear with a nice breeze. The farm was super crowded, but we had a good time anyway. Ainsley's favorite part was feeding the goats at the farm- she stood around their coral for over an hour. She got to pet a horse too- not as exciting as the goats though. We played with the pumpkins and picked out some great ones for our house. We will be painting the smaller ones soon. We had a nice picnic lunch together under the trees-very nice!
Then, we walked to the other side of the farm and picked flowers. They had gorgeous zinnias and Ainsley and I had fun picking them. We had gorgeous bouquets!
I am doing pretty well- I am sleeping a little better- I have finally found some fairly good sleep positions so I don't wake up every hour. I still wake up, but not as often. The baby moves a lot- sometimes he will kick/punch and I feel like my whole body jumps with the force of it. Ainsley has been brave and put her hand on my belly to feel her brother moving from time to time.
Ainsley seems to be enjoying school - she is a little happier when I drop her off and she is always really happy when I pick her up. She talks about ther other children and the things that they do during the day. She has lots of art and activities that she brings home each week too. They sure do start teaching them a lot at such a young age! Last week she learned about South America and the different countries there, the people, animals, etc. She also learned about the human skeleton!
