Ben finally got his first tooth! He got his lower left incisor in on September 1st. I could feel it just breaking through the gum tissue. He got his second tooth the lower right incisor September 11th.
Ben has also started crawling. He has been pushing himself on the floor for a week or so, but on September 11th he was actually crawling. He does more of an army crawl right now, but he has great forward movement!
Even before crawling, Ben was getting into everything. He moved himself around really well( combination of rolling and pushing) and was constantly trying to get his hands on things on the floor, in drawers, on the couch, etc. He loves remotes and cell phones. Anything and everything goes in his mouth. He also has started screaming loudly when you take things away from him.
He has started standing really well too with support, it is actually hard to get him to sit.
He has been a little unhappy - presumably from his teeth. He is not as content as normal but I hope it is temporary!
Ainsley has been doing great. She loves her little brother - it is hard to express how cute she is with him. She sings when he is crying, she likes to entertain him and refers to herself as "big sis."
She has started having imaginary friends, she tells the most amazing stories, and she loves to do roleplaying at home. She can write her first and last name on her own! She can also write Alissa, Dan and Ben!
