Ben has 4 teeth now! 2 on top, 2 on the bottom. I guess he is working on some more as he is sleeping terribly! He is a crawling machine- he is a fast little bugger. He walks really well on the furniture and can pull himself up too. He stands in his crib- which often makes it hard to get him down, he just stands up and hangs over the side, suddenly becoming happy again. He takes 2-3 naps a day. Usually an early morning nap for an hour, a mid day nap for 1-2 hours, then a late day nap. The late day nap is the one he is not wanting to take which makes for a long afternoon. He has been up from 1:30-7 or 8 several times. If he goes to bed too early at the end of the day, he gets up at 4 am- FOR THE DAY! He will be up for a few hours, happy as can be and not tired at all. Then he naps around 6 or 7. This makes for a very tired mommy.
He has started eating solid foods - puffs, biscuits, mum mums, some banana. He went on a swing for the first time- he thought it was ok, but was not that excited about it. He went to the beach - see previous post. He ate sand the first time at the beach, then learned his lesson. He got covered in sand each time we were there, but didn't eat any more.

Uncle Dave says thank you for updating the blog, love to see pics of the kids. Once he's ready, I'll send up some delicious hot dogs from Michigan.
