He loves to mimic noises- snorting, sniffing, kisses, laughing, etc. We get little laugh-offs because I will be laughing, then he laughs, then I laugh more, etc.
He climbed stairs on his own 10/19, he got up to our landing
he got cheerios- 10/21 and loves them! It is one of the best entertainments for him!
Ben loves banana pieces! I was feeding him some the other day and I leaned over to clean something near the high chair. He grabbed my hair with his banana fisted hands, smiled and then laughed. Oh well, who judges me, right? Everyone needs a little banana gel.
Ben has been sleeping terribly for a few weeks. His ears still look fine and the assumption is that it is his teeth ( even though none are visible near the gumline). We really want him to start sleeping better soon.
Ainsley started a little Mother's Day Out program 2 weeks ago and she LOVES it! I am so excited that she likes it. She did not want to go, and had a 1 hour tantrum about it the morning we were to start. I stayed strong and she went. Luckily she calmed down and put on a brave face to try the school. When we arrived, all the other Mom's and kids were there and they were very excited about the new girl. She became instant friends with all the kids (6 total), especially the other little girl ( only 1 other girl). She has not shed a tear at drop off or while she is there and she really seems excited to go. She is such a big girl! She has helped me pick out her clothes and pack her lunch too.
Halloween was fun this year! I dressed up with Ainsley in a matching outfit. Ainsley was Tinkerbelle and I was a Woodland Fairy. It was stressful to work, then get home and try to get everything ready. We were hurried and got a very late start on trick or treating. Mandy stayed and had dinner with us, then went trick or treating with us too. We didn't get many pictures so here are a few.
Ainsley loved the whole night. She enjoyed getting candy and going house to house. She was not scared of the decorations and scary costumes either! We were some of the last out- even though it was only 8:15. I guess no one else works until 6 and can get an earlier start. Such a bummer for me, especially since our late afternoon was really slow- no one wanted to come in.
Ben was a trooper- he wore some of his costume all night and was great in the stroller. He enjoyed looking around and watching everything.
