Fall

We had a nice Fall overall.  The weather was finally nice- cooler and sunny.  We have not had much rain which is sad since we are still in a terrible drought.  The kids and I went to the zoo a lot- they love looking at all the animals, running around, feeding goats, etc.  I have a season pass so we seem to go almost every week.  In cooler weather, the lions and tigers are active and so close to the fence it is a little scary.  The kids have also developed a love for the reptile house- they love the snakes.  I don't- it is my least favorite place to be.  Snakes bother me!

Check out the snake behind Ainsley- it was a huge python that wanted out. He was really active

Ben did not want to take his eyes off the snake for me to take the picture- I don't blame him!
Check out the size of this snakes body!
Tigers!

We also went to a lot of parks and played on the playscapes. The kids love being outside and running around.

Cute, happy Ben on the slide!

Ainsley and Ben playing together!  They get along so well!

We went to a few bounce houses as well- we tried to keep busy!  Phew, I hope they have fond memories of all that we did.

My parents visited for Thanksgiving- they like to come and see us so they don't miss seeing the kids grow up.  They were here for about a week and we enjoyed their visit!

Dan and Ainsley also camped out in the backyard in our tent. Ben and Ainsley enjoyed themselves on the airmattress in the tent- they liked the flashlights, telling stories, and bouncing around!  We had to trick Ben inside so that he did not realize he missed out on sleeping outside- but he and I had a good night's sleep in the house!

 Silly, cute little boy!
