Ainsley is 4 months old today! We are celebrating in grand style in San Antonio. We arrived last night for the Veterinary Conference and things are going great. We left in the evening last night, Ainsley slept for half the way. Then she was happy entertaining herself for 20 mintues, then she was a little fussy but still pretty good for the next 15 minutes. Finally, we arrived. We checked in and got help with ALL THE LUGGAGE from a porter. He was really nice and gave us a great room! Ainsley went to bed and slept all night like normal ( though she fell asleep a little later then usual). Today, I went to meetings all day and Dan stayed with his baby girl. I was able to come back to the hotel for the breaks and feed Ainsley and visit with Dan. One of my best friends from Vet School is here ( she is pregnant too- it is like a baby epidemic or something!) and we had a nice lunch together with Dan and Ainsley. Lunch was the first time Ainsley has eaten with us in a restaurant. It was ok, but we had to hold her for most of the time. I ate quickly and then took her back from Dan so that he could eat. I put my arm under her rear and then my arm felt wet. I looked at her rear and yes, there was poop soiling her shorts. And now my arm. Great. At least I had the diaper bag and the restaurant had a changing table in the bathroom. It was really no problem except we had to change her outfit. Kind of funny that Dan gave her back just at that moment..... We kept telling my friend, this is what you have to look forward too.
I went back to the afternoon lectures and left Dan and Ainsley napping. Dan is enjoying this little mini vacation away from work. When I returned from lectures, this is what I found.
Yes, still napping. HOW CUTE!
Dressed for dinner
We went out to dinner tonight with my friend and my sister Celene. Celene and Ainsley were wearing matching outfits.
On the way out, we walked past the Alamo and had to take some pictures.
We had some great Tex Mex on the Riverwalk at a place my sister really likes- farther down from the main tourist restaurants. Ainsley was getting tired during dinner, so Dan and I took turns walking around with her. She fell asleep in my arms before we started back to the hotel.

The picture of Dan and Ainsley in bed is totally adorable. You should definitely put that in her baby book.
She was a real trouper during the conference. I'm glad she was so cooperative!
Sounds like ya'll had a great time!
