Everyone asks how Remi likes the baby. She loves the baby! She is her guardian. When I am not home and someone else is with Ainsley, Remi camps out in Ainsley's room by her crib. If Remi is not in her room, she runs there as soon as Ainsley starts to make any noise. If Ainsley starts crying, Remi gets anxious. Wherever Ainsley is, Remi is not far away.

Of course, Remi loves to show her love by licking Ainsley. She licks her feet, her hands, and tries to lick her face. We try to keep her from licking as much as possible. But, we are thrilled with how Remi is with her and we could not ask for a better dog.
I had a great visit with my Mom this week. Thanks to everyone at work who allowed me some extra time off to visit. It was great to have the mornings with my Mom and Ainsley.

It never fails to amaze me how dogs become so protective, maternal almost, with new babies in the family. They look like they will be best buds for many years to come.
She is a wonderful dog! I love the picture of her curled by her crib.
