Ainsley got to sit in her highchair for the first time last week. We started solids a few days later- rice cereal. She took the solids great and seemed to really enjoy the food and the feeding. I enjoyed it too.

We made a much bigger mess when she was helping me put the food in her mouth!This is her after the feeding, think she liked it?
We went to the pool for the first time too- she was not too sure of this, but has gotten better with each visit and she seems to be content in the water.
Yesterday we went to a BBQ at some friends. They have a 2.5 year old boy, Aidan, who was very taken with Ainsley. He was very gentle with her and was following us around, sitting next to her, giving lots of hugs and even a few kisses. 
Here is Ainsley's first kiss from a boy- how cute! Aidan is going to have a baby brother in a couple of months, so his parents were very happy to see how much he liked Ainsley.

My favorite pic is the one with the huge smile after eating her first cereal. She seems so happy and much loved.
