Second Tooth

Ainsley got her second tooth last weekend- Saturday to be precise.

On Saturday afternoon, Dan and I took Ainsley to Lake LBJ for a party. Dan's boss had a party for the employees - lots of water sports and yummy fajitas. The Lake was beautiful- I had never been out there before. It is a constant level lake, so it was full of water, unlike our local lake. The lake house was really awesome, on a nice inlet. There was a nice deck on the water and we just visited for a while outside. It was really hot unfortunately, but otherwise perfect. We tried to get Ainsley in the water, but she was scared and started crying as soon as her feet touched the water. We were able to stand in the water near the deck and thought that we could hold her in the water, but not yet. Ainsley took a nice long nap while we were there, so Dan and I took turns playing on the jetskis! I love jetskis! It was so much fun to zoom around the lake - I got to go pretty fast, there was nice cool water spraying my face and I got to see the gorgeous lake. We were not able to go out on the boat after dinner as it was time to get Ainsley home, plus she would have needed a life jacket ( still a little small for that). Also, she was a little fussy after dinner, and that would be because she got her second tooth. I was able to feel it starting to
erupt when we got home. It is her lower right incisor! She was really good considering her tooth erupted.

We did take Ainsley to the pool on Sunday and I took her in the water. I did it really gradually and she did ok. She wasn't excited about it, but she was not scared either.
