Mama, Dada

Ainsley said her first word 2 weeks ago! I am very excited to say that it was "Mama." (Ahh, satisfaction) However, I can't take too much credit as she does not yet associate me with "mama," but still...

It was very cool to hear her talking. She is babbling some more too - saying lots of mm mm's, mama's, bahs, baba and of course happy squeals.

Yesterday, I heard a few das. Today, she managed "dada" which made Dan very happy.

Am I just a really proud parent, or is she advanced with her words??? I mean, she MUST be a genius or something.

In my experience, kids who are very advanced with their words are very slow with the physical milestones. However, I'd much rather have a kid who can say a lot than and early walker and climber!

Brilliant! Just like her parents! :-)
