Last week I went to Kohl's with Ainsley to check out the children's clothing sales. I got the stroller out of the back of the truck, set it up and pulled it up next to the door of the truck while I was getting Ainsley. It was a fairly warm day, but it was very windy. The next thing I know, some man is shouting: "Lady, the stroller!" and he runs past me. Confused, I look around and see my stroller two lanes over- it was being blown through the parking lot by the wind. The nice man chased down the stroller and brought it back to me. I guess he thought there might be a baby in there? I am definitely not that careless. I thought it was pretty funny. The next stop, I put the brake on the stroller!
Ainsley loves soft, fluffy fabrics. She likes to walk around holding her soft blankets up to her face, especially when she is tired. The other day I was in the bathroom and Ainsley was in my closet. I heard her fuss and went to investigate. I found her pulling on my terry cloth bathrobe and trying to hold it to her face and leave the closet. She was upset because it was on a hanger and it wouldn't come with her. Very cute.
Ainsley also loves her soft and fluffy stuffed animals. She piled all of them up on the floor and laid on them, rubbing her face on their fur and giggling.
Two of my favorite uncles are in San Antonio this week golfing. They called the other day to see if we could get together Friday when they drive through on their way home. Unfortunately I will be leaving town that day for Florida. When I told them that they said, "You're not taking the baby are you? no. Good, because we want to see her." She is pretty special and they are both Grandpas, but they could have pretended to be sad about not getting to see me!
A few days ago we had a sunny, nice winter day and I was outside with Ainsley, Remi and Brie. Ainsley was playing in the grass- investigating leaves, twigs and grass. I started to brush Remi and looked at her for a minute while I brushed her. I hear this "clack, clack clack." I look at Ainsley wondering what she has. She has a huge grin on her face and is walking towards me holding two dried out pieces of Remi poop and hitting them together. I shouted "NO, drop them" to no avail. I had to grab her hands and try to shake them loose- she held on tight. When I started to pry her fingers open she started screaming! After pretty much mashing the poop, I got it loose. Ainsley was very unhappy. We washed well. At lesat she didn't try to eat it.

Ah, what a great poop story! Totally gross! The first of many, I'm afraid.
Thank goodness for soap.
Have a great trip!
That poop story cracked me up.
