Not much new is going on with me. I am getting anxious about the arrival of BB, wondering which day will be THE DAY. I have still been working- this is my last week. Then, I will be off for about 12 weeks. Hopefully the baby comes early in my time off and doesn't make me wait several weeks. The pregnancy seems to have been speeding by except for the last month, time is dragging. It seems that she will never get here, but then I realize one way or another, she will be here in 3 weeks for sure- they would induce me by then.
She has dropped lower in my abdomen- you can tell by looking at my belly ( which seems a lot bigger in recent weeks). I can also tell by further discomfort in my pelvis and shooting nerve pain that I get periodically in my legs. She still keeps me company by kicking and moving around frequently.
Sleep is harder- I am more exhausted, but more uncomfortable. I usually start out in bed get up at 3 and move upstairs to the comfy couch. Brie is my constant companion and comes upstairs with me at night. Usually, she will hear me get up and start up the stairs, she beats me to the top. She has gotten smart about sleeping on me- she waits until I get comfortable and have not moved in a few minutes before she joins me. She still loves to sleep on my belly- when I am on my side or when I am partially on my back. Last night she was actually sleeping on top of the highest part of my belly when I woke up to change position - wish I had a camera as it was pretty cute. As soon as I start to stir- she leaps off of me and returns when I settle.
Funny things that have happened during pregnancy:
1- Getting stuck in the garage. I usually get home before Dan. When I was driving the truck, I parked on the right of the garage, the car on the left. One day, Dan beat me home and the car was in the garage, a little far over from where it should have been. I parked and opened the truck door, but was unable to get out of the truck because the door only opened part way before hitting the car. Me and my belly couldn't pass. Dan had to back the car out of the garage. He thought that was pretty funny.
2-My belly- the food catcher. Dan has pointed out that many of my shirts ( especially PJ's) have stuff on them. When I brush my teeth, if any toothpaste drips, it seems to land on my belly, not in the sink.
3- From a co worker. "You look like you are ready to have that baby. Why don't you go outside and lean against a tree." Huh? "You know, squat against the tree and push the baby out. "No I don't know- must be a new thing
With explanation- this is what women in other countries will do when it is time to have their babies. My guess would be that they are actually in labor when they do it. It was pretty funny- we have some good laughs about it now.
I am collecting books and movies to keep me entertained next week when I am at home on my own. I am sure time will pass very slow while I am waiting.

You didn't really look tired to me until this week. And your belly definitely looked rounder. I am glad you are getting a little break before she comes. This is so exciting!
Got to love Deb! You've been such a trooper. I agree w/ Jen that it's time to put your feet up and relax...only 1 more day of work.
