We had a very quiet Easter. It didn’t feel like Easter to me – probably because I was not out and about seeing the decorations in stores and around. I did not buy anything Easter and I did not do any decorations. I will do more next year when Ainsley is old enough to enjoy Easter egg hunting and decorations!
My sister Sara and her husband Dave came up for the day, luckily they went shopping and got some Cadbury mini eggs for me. They had not seen Ainsley since a few days after her birth so they were amazed at how much she had changed. We had a nice time visiting with them and they spent some quality time with Ainsley. We had some really good snacks and watched the UT basketball game and a movie, Enchanted. Sara and I enjoyed the movie, Dan left to do the taxes (I guess they were more entertaining then a “chick flick”). Ainsley had a good nap on Auntie Sara then we went for a nice walk.
Ainsley was dressed in a dress that I wore as a baby- see picture. The dresses back then were much shorter, meant to be worn with bloomers I suppose. I put on a pair of pants with it since it was a little chilly. When Dave saw Ainsley, he said she looked like a little Easter Egg- I thought that was really cute!
Remi is doing really well- she is much more comfortable now. Yesterday we put on a pair of boxer shorts when her doggie pants got dirty- pretty cute.
Hope everyone had a good Easter.

Ainsley looks so alert, and her cheeks are even fatter!
