Dan and I really enjoyed the gorgeous weather over the weekend. It was 70-75 and sunny with a nice breeze. We took advantage of the nice weather and did some yard work. Dan went to the Natural Gardener and got a couple of yards of good soil put in his truck, then he carted them to our backyard with a wheelbarrow. He put the dirt into the raised beds, now they are ready for plants. I pulled lots of grass that had started to grow in the raised beds- it was a little awkward as I can't really bend well, but I sat on a stool and leaned to the sides. I am really looking forward to the easy planting having raised beds will allow- no more hitting huge rocks with every hole.
I took several breaks and let Brie come outside to enjoy the sunshine too- she loves to walk around the yard and nibble on grass, then lay in the sun. Remi spent most of the day sunbathing.
We actually went out to see a movie Saturday night- something we don't do very much and likely won't get to do much in the future. We saw National Treasure, Book of Secrets.
Sunday we did more yard work- I repotted some of my hanging plants, then fertilized the trees and plants.
We also splurged and bought a new tv this weekend- we made the upgrade to an HDTV. I have to go get a new cable box today ( for HD), but we were able to get free HD over the air and watch the superbowl last night. The picture quality is really amazing!
My contractions seems to be getting more frequent, sometimes every 10-12 minutes, but it doesn't seem to go on all day and they are not yet painful. I am sleeping ok, waking up several times during the night, but almost wide awake around 4:30-5. I usually try to rest until 7 or so and I have been trying to nap in the afternoons.

It was a beautiful weekend. Glad you got some gardening done!
A blog a day until Baby Brown arrives is expected! Hey, I think we're getting a thunderstorm tonight, which means a drop in the barometric pressure, which means pregnant women go into labor...
I'm waiting for baby news. The countdown has begun!
