3 weeks old

Ainsley is 3 weeks old today- wow time is flying by. She is awake for longer periods each day, though only a few hours per day. Most of the time when she is awake, she is pretty happy. Keeping her happy involves lots of work on my part though. Today, we laid on a blanket in the sunshine and I read her some fairy tales. Then I put on a Baby Einsteins music cd and we danced around the house to the music. We also bundled up and went for a walk outside- I put her in an infant carrier ( baby bjorn) and off we went. We even took Remi. Ainsley loves being outside and she enjoyed her walk- she dozes while we walk. Then, nap time for both of us. Ainsley is keeping me up a lot at night- hopefully her circadian rhythm will shift soon ( supposed to be between 3-4 weeks). She actually slept better at night the last few weeks than she has the last few nights. Hopefully this is a temporary setback.
